Our clients are using make.tv for producing and broadcasting conferences, events and interactive webshows. Our Team is based in Cologne (Germany) and Los Angeles. We are a small start up team of engineers, designers and communicators and we are looking for people with high standards and commitment.

Freelance Front-End Developer
Tasks:
Create the elegant, responsive interface for the make.tv website, based on given designs in collaboration with the product, design and engineering team.
Requirements:
Expert Javascript/HTML/CSS/Ajax coding skills.
Good programming skills in Ruby, Java, Python, or PHP.
Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from, product management, interaction designers, and back-end engineers.
Proactively look for ways to build a functional, responsive interface.
Experience in web application interfaces.
A strong sense for quality and a disciplined testing approach.
Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility.
Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, Apache) and familiarity with Unix/Linux.
Must be self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient.
Desired:
Experience with developing interfaces for Drupal powered websites.
Experience with version control (git) in a multi developer environment.
