Our clients are using make.tv for producing and broadcasting conferences, events and interactive webshows. Our Team is based in Cologne (Germany) and Los Angeles. We are a small start up team of engineers, designers and communicators and we are looking for people with high standards and commitment.

Freelance Visual Web Designer
Tasks:
Design the make.tv Website in collaboration with the Product Design and Engineering team
Work closely with a Front-End Web Developer
Propose a strong visual style
Ensure visual consistency
Requirements:
2-4+ years working in a design production capacity in a digital agency or start-up environment
Ability to take wireframes and enrich them with beautiful, functional design.
Ability to work in a decentralized, global team. Self-driven and goal-oriented
Solid intuition of best practices and solutions in user-centered design.
Strong visual design skills, including an eye for good typography, composition, and use of color
Strong understanding of HTML/CSS/JS uses and prospects
Proficient with the tools of the trade
Cooperative and detailed oriented
Desired:
Experience with functional, application like websites and/or web application design
